New home photos
I’ve just added a set of photos to flickr that show off our new place.
Ecto image upload patch for WordPress
Thanks to this post from taking the red pill, I now have ecto image uploads working with WordPress. Thanks heaps to jr for the patch.
This photo comes from a weekend camping trip at Mudaring Weir. It was one of those quiet, misty days with soft English rain. The kids ran and walked a huge distance from our campsite to the weir and back again.
Circus action in photos
These are photos from last night’s Cirque Bizirque circus class. Click on the images above for a better look, or get full resolution images here and here.
More Womadelaide Photos
Here’s the big stage, stage 1, with Kila playing.

On the way there on Saturday, we walked through the Botanic Gardens to get to Botanic Park. See, there I am in the rose garden.

Osadia do performance hair art. They were set up on a small stage, and would choose people from the audience, bring them up on stage and do their hair in the strangest way, leaving them to wander the festival for the rest of the day. As it that wasn’t enough, the performers (hair artists) feel the need to costume themselves meticulously as well, so they were dressed as geisha. >
Here’s Lib watching Osadia, trying to work out how to make them pick her by looking serious and not too keen but interested (or something :-)
A rainy night in Prevelly
After seeing my photo through the blinds, Kim Murray of Margaret River Online sent over these beautiful shots of a rainy night in Prevelly. It looks like a wild night out there. I love the way that these handheld shots add all this dramatic movement, making it looks like a wild storm. Thanks Kim.
Photo-enabled
I just picked up a a small digital camera so I can get pictures into here and into the freo.com weblog and other places more easily. This is a photo out of the front window of my home looking onto South Terrace, capturing a Transperth bus cruising past. (By the way, the new camera is a Nikon Coolpix 2100.)
A Test
I just want to see what MT and Kung-Log does with images.
This is Bea and I on the weekend we spent up at Parkerville. We were having a bit of a walk up the creek to the falls and back, and I ended up with Bea on my shoulders for most of it.
