The container arrives…
We now have all our things. The container arrived on Wednesday. We had three hours to clear it and place the stuff in the house and we did it. Huge thanks to John and Peter and Chris the truck driver, who all worked like dogs to get the stuff out and into the house within the 3 hours we were allowed.
So now we live in a sea of boxes until we get them unpacked and things put away. Funny, we’d been getting on fine without all this stuff, and now here it is. That said, really nice to have my office chair and my bed back again. Ah. My spine says thanks.
Yay, stuff. It’s nice to do without for a while, and nice to say hello to again. Especially good mattresses …

Oh yes, Valerie. God there are a lot of boxes. Got up kind of early this morning and emptied a few more. The lougeroom is like a crowded chess game, have to move things to unpack things then move things again to clear the space to put the things in… Well, it will be unpacked soon.
Yeah, having gone through a similar experience it’s suprising just how well you can go without a mountain of stuff.
I vanish for a few months and when I return you’re living in a different country!

Anyone want to come to a really cool garage sale in Brighton!? Ha! Still unpacking, but yes, the bed is GREAT. I think we are going to get a cat soon. That plus Bea’s unique new school might keep us in one place for a bit… Val & Robbery – don’t forget the spare room there on the other side of the pond… and we will be dreaming of actually making it to one of your NYE parties – at last! xxx Libs
