Oh, something to think about — maybe we ought to move meetups to upcoming.org because it is free. I’ve been funding the meetups for a while, and starting to think we need another funding mechanism.
How was the meetup? I have to confess I do miss them a lot. Are the crowds still usually quite good? Any of the original crowd still there?

Yeah, the meetups are still grooving along. Maybe a bit quieter than before, but that seems to happen a bit in summer anyway. We had a good winter season at the Brass Monkey. Regularly like 5 or 6 show up, I suppose.
The community could probably use a bit of nurturing; but I’m just a bit too busy at the moment to put the time in.
So when are you going to be back in Perth again? Come along and tell stories!

I’m glad to hear that at least a small portion of the Perth blogging community is still active away from the PC.
I’ll be back briefly in April for wedding, and then much later on in December, when my current contract finishes.
I was hoping that when I was back later last year I could attend a meet up, but alas I didn’t happen to be there during a Meetup.
When are you going to be around? We can move the date perhaps?
Sorry, won’t have the time as I’ll only be back for 4 days and have been full booked out (I almost feel like a celebrity these days!). Although later in the year I’ll let you know.
