feeds fixed and improved, even!

With a bit of fiddling the perth blog feeds seems to have come back to life. And if you’ve ever been annoyed by all the extra right angle brackets that were seeping into the aggregated feed, you’ll be pleased to know that I’ve finally found out a fix for that.

Does anybody still read the feeds anyway?

  1. I.. Ummm, I… Erhem. Ummm, yes, I use the blog feeds page…

I, um, ah - use the RSS feed for the page to aggregate all the Perth blogs to my RSS reader…

(And actually, I do browse the articles there occasionally, like when I’m out on a job and waiting for a scan to finish, or whatever. I’d prolly fade to coma if I didn’t have my daily fix of local blognews.)

So - who’s going to be wearing the carnation at Little Creatures? How am I gonna recognise any of the people I’ve read so much from? More importantly, am I going to even be able to make it, seeing as my track record is so bad? Stay tuned!

  3. Thanks Ted. Glad somebody is reading them. I’ve let the whole thing slide for a while now, nearly a year. I’ve had all these grand plans to automate people adding themselves to the feeds, just not got around to it yet. Maybe one day.

The carnation at creatures?? Hmm. What can I promise there? I’ve got a natty meetup sign somewhere. I’ll try and find it. Or one of us will wear a meetup hat or something Red and White.

  5. I don’t read the feed much but I occasionally get people clicking through, which is good. Thanks for keeping it running & see you at Little Creatures. There’s no upstairs there, is there?

  7. Thanks Mark,
Yes, there is an upstairs. But we won’t be up there. If I get there first, I’ll try for a table out the front or out the back, rather than inside. Hey, why don’t I just put that in the meetup thingy. Duh.
