Gee... its wierd. I've done my share over the years - running kids to & from childcare while my wife was working in another city, changing nappies, cooking meals.

Really - whats the big deal? And why is it that women (mothers) have hangups about this?

When I did all this, my wife and I were both working full time, and things were just the way they were. We did what we had to do because we share the work, share the responsibilities, and share the children!

Its really odd (off even) that when women do this it is considered normal, and when men do it, it's considered some kind of sacrifice / miracle / thing-to-be-praised, rah rah rah.

I suspect actually that some (not all) women see this as threatening, and perhaps more than anything else it shows that the womens movement over the years has had a huge influence on men, but maybe not nearly such an influence on women!!!
