  1. Good news. I also noticed FfE – Free for Education on some government sponsored research recently – with the logo owned (and presumably the program operated by)AEShareNet. Their site says:

    “AEShareNet is a streamlined copyright management framework established by government on a non-profit basis for the education sector.”

    Different purpose to CreativeCommons, in that it promotes free ‘use for education’ but a similar process. Might be a useful alternative.
